Detailed outline of courses

Our growing collection of "Detailed outline of courses," or syllabi from USARI.

These outlines were given to students to help prepare for subject-focused classes. The outlines include the lectures themselves, and could also include a bibliography, Russian to English word translations, and exam questions. Most documents were donated by former students.

NOTE: We are always looking for additional materials!  Please contact us if you would like to send a digital or print file.

OR: Are you a researcher needing access to these materials?  Again, please contact us!

USARI Student Papers

Over 100 Student Reports from USARI ( U.S. Army Institute for Advanced Russian & East European Studies) have been scanned and are available to the public. USARI was established in 1947 to create a group of US Army and Air Force officers knowledgeable about the USSR, along with the Russian language expertise suitable for such experts.
