Citation Styles

Formatting Citations with Chicago Manual of Style (CMoS)

The Library subscribes to the Chicago Manual of Style, the citation style used most often at the GCMC.

Generally, the citation format in ProQuest & EBSCOhost is fine, but for odd sources, you can search to find examples in CMoS Chapter 14.  We also have the print version of the CMoS, and you can always ask us for help.

For books, hearings, and CRS Reports, ask us how to get the citation via WorldCat.
